CNF: We are also interested in previously unpublished Creative Non-Fiction and are not imposing word count restrictions at this time.
Reviews: Have you reviewed a novel, novella, chap book, or any piece that struck a chord with you? We’re interested. Let’s not get crazy on the length, but use as many words as it takes to get your ideas across.
Art: In addition, we are interested in illustrations for published work. The formatting of our posts dictates that these should be landscape orientation. Please review current posts on the site as reference and send proposed artwork to email@example.com.
We accept submission in English primarily from Canadian authors and especially welcome Toronto writers, though we’ll happily consider quality work from anybody anywhere.
Simultaneous submissions are welcome but please let us know straight away if your work is accepted elsewhere. Please submit only one piece at a time and wait for a response before you re-submit.
By submitting to The Blake-Jones Review you agree to grant First Serial Rights. Copyright reverts to the author on publication. Acknowledgement as first publisher would also be appreciated.
At this time, we cannot offer payment for your work, but we hope to be able to compensate all artists very soon. You’re all brilliant and very special to us.
